Internationally lauded and much admired musician, Joan Armatrading MBE returns with a stunning new album, Starlight. This collection of ten new compositions sees Joan mix her love of jazz with her prowess as a singer, guitarist and songwriter.   

On Starlight Joan plays every instrument, a feat she has also completed on her previous two albums, which in turn has led to unanimous, widespread and, perhaps most importantly, consistent critical acclaim.  

429 Records, through Universal Music Australia, will release Starlight on 8 February 2013.   With 20 stunning albums to her credit and multiple award nominations, Joan's subtle and sublime music has touched millions of people all over the world.

Joan will perform songs from Starlight for Australian audiences with an appearance at Byron Bay Bluesfest in 2013, alongside sideshows in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
