Kanan Gill

One of India’s most celebrated and critically acclaimed stand-up comedians, Kanan Gill, will return to Australia this July with his new stand-up show ‘Not This Again’.

The Australian dates are part of Kanan’s biggest international tour to date, and will visit Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Kanan has already built a base of Australian fans, wowing audiences with ‘What Is This?’ and being nominated for best stand-up show at the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He’s known for incisive observational humour, calm stage presence, and immaculately crafted jokes.

He has become a global comedy force, and the universally relatable edge to his stand-up means that no matter where he plays, be it Mumbai, Melbourne or Manhattan, he’ll get big laughs.

Kanan’s recent world tour sold out theatres across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, with an audience of more than 100,000 people worldwide. Now, he returns with fresh material and a show which promises to be smarter, sharper, and funnier than ever. His performances are marked by intellectual clarity and an unhurried confidence.

Kanan’s beginnings are fascinating in themselves. He’s armed with a degree in computer science, and a former life as a software engineer. . . Which hew famously swapped for comedy, much to the benefit of audiences everywhere.

Kanan Gill is back with a brand-new hour and a reputation for leaving audiences laughing long after the lights go up.
