Following the release of his highly anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Love You Madly, Hate You Badly’, genre-defying artist, producer, and cultural provocateur Oliver Tree will visit Australia as part of an expansive global headline tour spanning all seven continents (yes, that includes Antarctica).
The ‘World’s First World Tour’ marks Tree’s most ambitious live run to date, and Australia can look forward to seeing Oliver this October. It kicks off in May at Mexico City, and will take place across major cities including New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, and Shanghai.
Known for his electrifying performances and boundary-pushing visuals, Oliver’s show is sure to bring the chaotic, emotional and cinematic world of ‘Love You Madly, Hate You Badly’ to life.
Our reviewer described his 2023 Brisbane show as ‘a wild, unpredictable journey through Oliver's imaginative world, complete with fresh faces and familiar favourites’.
‘Love You Madly, Hate You Badly’ is a 17-track project marking Tree’s most ambitious, expansive body of work to date. Plus, it was completely self-written and self-produced. The project spans a wide spectrum of sonic and emotional territory, including tracks like ‘Superhero’, ‘Joyride’, ‘Flowers’, ‘Deep End’ and ‘All You Ever Wanted’.
The album’s latest focus track is ‘F… The Whole World’. It has quickly become a stand-out, following Tree’s viral performance of a remixed version of the track at Coachella.
Tree recorded the album across all 7 continents and 82 countries, from Africa, to China, to Afghanistan. These experiences are embedded throughout the record through diverse instrumentation, sonic textures, and cultural influences.
Oliver Tree’s live shows are an extension of his multimedia universe – unpredictable, immersive. . . And his own.
