These are Tully's top five holiday destinations:
Cook Islands
I visited the Cook Islands last year with the guys at Pedestrian TV for a travel feature and fell head over heels in love with the beautiful islands. I’ve been to quite a few ‘tropical’ destinations including Vanuatu, Fiji, Bali and Noumea but this has got to be one of the most pristine, breath taking and relaxing beach destinations in the world. Make sure you visit Aitutaki and try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding yoga - it’s worth it!Puerto Escondido, Mexico
I spent ten days in Puerto after I finished university and I swear, I haven’t been as relaxed since. Considered the Mexican pipeline – it’s full of laid back Mexicans and travellers from all around the world who have come to surf some pretty amazing waves. Similar vibe to Byron Bay and with the biggest fresh juices (and margaritas) around, it’s worth taking a trip down the path less-travelled.Venice, Italy
As a fan of all things romantic, I found Venice to be like something out of a fantasy movie. The food, the people, the windy paths you can get lost down and bridges to cross meant that Venice was my favourite part of my trip to Italy. You really can’t beat a sunset canal boat ride.New York, United States of America
As much as I love relaxing holidays by the beach, I’m equally nuts for a jam-packed, culture rich holiday and New York really is the city that never sleeps. Between the 5-star restaurants, cocktail bars, museums and Broadway shows, New York City is hands down my favourite city in the world.Melbourne, Australia
I would be amiss not to list one of our very own fair cities in this list. I moved to Melbourne six months ago and still find myself getting all googley-eyed about this beautiful city. Us 20-something year olds are so quick to want to hop a plane and get out of Australia when really, there is so much beauty and wonder right here under our noses.Tully's Young Blood Travel blog.
