While the vast majority of us remain law-abiding citizens, there's also the innate human quality of wondering what it would be like to partake in a little naughtiness, even if for the thrill factor.
If that sounds like you, and you either live in Sydney or will be travelling there in the coming weeks, you'll want to check out the new escape-room adventure Run: A Binge and PANiQ Room Experience.
Built around the world of one of Australia's most infamous criminals, Brenden Abbott aka the Postcard Bandit – whose life comes to the small screen with the new Binge-Foxtel Australian production 'Run' (which premieres 1 January) – Run: A Binge and PANiQ Room Experience puts you at the centre of a mastermind behind a string of audacious bank robberies and legendary prison breaks.
A high stakes challenge for those who are motivated to test their own abilities, when you enter this escape room, you'll be faced with split-second decisions where every choice matters, while every move must be precise.
Do you have what it takes to navigate the Postcard Bandit's calculated, high-pressure world and make your own escape? Don't miss out. Bookings are available.
'Run' portrays the extraordinary life of Australia's most notorious bank robber, Brenden Abbott, a dramatised action-packed series about his unprecedented career in crime and chaotic life on the run in the 1990s.
Abbott's exploits include being the only prisoner to escape Fremantle Prison (which was operational for nearly 150 years) and never return (in part because the prison closed in 1991).
At one point Australia's most wanted man, Abbott is credited with 40 to 50 robberies, most of them committed while on the run from police.

After being nabbed on the Gold Coast in the mid '90s when police tracked him down via a post-office box, Abbott escaped for a second time, this time from Wacol Prison in Brisbane.
Subsequently re-caught in 1998, Abbott has remained in jail ever since – in both Queensland and Western Australia – and will be eligible for parole next July.
'Run' stars George Mason ('The Power Of The Dog' as Abbott, with Robyn Malcolm ('After The Party', 'The Survivors'), Ashleigh Cummings ('Citadel', 'Long Bright River', 'Hounds of Love'), and Keiynan Lonsdale ('Swift Street', 'The Flash') starring alongside him.
Each portrays a pivotal figure in Abbott's turbulent life and the law enforcement network determined to bring him down.
Run: A Binge and PANiQ Room Experience will run for a select season until 31 January, 2026, at Paniq Room Sydney.
