You read that right – a brand-new musical based on the beloved global TV phenomenon, ‘The Great British Bake Off’, is headed to Australia.
The premiere production is set to open in Melbourne in 2026, before touring to Sydney and Brisbane.
’The Great British Bake Off Musical’ is produced by See You Sunday, the company behind the sell-out Melbourne season of ‘American Psycho – The Musical’. It promises a joyful, high-energy, theatrical event, inspired by the world’s most comforting competition.
“After ‘American Psycho’, we wanted to swing the pendulum in the most unexpected direction possible. This show is pure joy. It’s funny, heartfelt and unapologetically feel-good. And yes, expect a few soggy bottoms along the way,” Producer Mark Taylor says.
