Australia's biggest pop culture event, The Supanova Pop Culture Expo has proudly announced the addition of Rose McGowan and Michael Rosenbaum to their upcoming expos in Melbourne on April 13 and 14 and Gold Coast on April 20 and 21.
Rose McGowan is best known as Paige Matthews from the TV series Charmed. She cemented her place as a pop-culture icon when she was cast in two very diverse roles in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's double-feature film, Grindhouse, as the go-go dancing Cherry Darling in Planet Terror and as Pam in Death Proof.
A recurring role in Nip/Tuck followed, as did a turn as Ann-Margaret in the Golden Globe-winning mini-series, Elvis, which has left fans waiting to see what’s next on Rose’s horizon.
Michael Rosenbaum has starred in TV series Smallville as Clark Kent's eventual arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor. He started his career in film when he caught the attention of an MTV rep. After playing a small cameo in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Michael was featured in the theatrical release Urban Legend. He has been cast as the voice of The Flash and in episodes of Static Shock, Justice League and Teen Titans.
Michael has written, directed, executive produced and starred in Old Days, which is due for release later this year.
The Supanova Expo is an annual celebration of pop culture, encompassing TV and film, geekery, gaming and gadgetry, collectibles, comics, cosplay and much more. Established in 2002 in Sydney by Daniel Zachariou, the event is attended by over 120,000 patrons who are eager to meet their favourite stars from film, TV, anime, comics and geek culture and to enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the trading floor, where fun commodities and rare collectibles can be snapped up by savvy buyers. International pop-culture celebrities come to Supanova to meet fans, give behind-the-scenes talks, pose for portraits and sign autographs at the family-friendly expos.
