Melbourne world-music songstress Mietta last week released her debut album, ‘A Mad Distance’.
With a number of launch shows planned this week and next, Mietta has shared her top five DILFs from the 1960s and before that she would like to date.
1. Frank Sinatra. Without a shadow of a doubt he is number one. The most incredible musician and vocalist, not to mention the suavest man in town, rich, and… ITALIAN! Take him home to mum — absolute home run with the parents.
2. Donny Hathaway. Although he died in ’79, a pre-1960s Donny would have been an absolute charmer, I’m sure. I’m not sure I can think of a singer to rival Donny. Would have had to steal some licks!
3. Elvis Presley. I don’t think I need to give an explanation here.
4. Chet Baker. One of the most beautiful singers and trumpet players of the ‘60s. I think he was a bit of a bad boy too.
5. Mozart. Would be a very interesting date this one. Probably wouldn’t have found him on Tinder though. I’m sure he’d be one of those hopeless romantic types and sweep you off your feet. I feel it would be short lived though. Passionate, but all over after a couple of dates!
