Delicious free-range, locally sourced chicken is on the menu at Brisbane newest street food vender, Lucky Egg.
A fusion of Americana and Asian stylings, Lucky Egg has found a home at The Brightside in Fortitude Valley every Wednesday through Sunday starting 25 June.
With recipes inspired by yesteryear, Lucky Egg has billed itself as the sustainable concious cousin of the chicken chain store. Foodies will be delighted with the menu which includes: Buffalo Crispy Burger, the Dorito crumbed popcorn-chicken, Hellman's Slaw and seasonal salads, buttermilk coated chicken, and mozzarella sticks.
Each night will have its own special to entice crowds: chicken wings on Wednesdays will only be a plucking fifty cents each; while Thursdays will serve hot malasada donuts.
Lucky Egg will also be open for lunch, so if you’re in the neighbourhood and a little peckish, don’t hesitate to perch at the streetside window or inside the coop from 11am.
