Those with a taste for the finer things in life shouldn't be left disappointed by the inaugural Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival.
The event invites you to meet the makers behind the delicious and in many cases award-winning wine produce, carefully selected from a wide range of exquisite wineries from around Australia.
The festival raves that it is a pop-up foodie's paradise, with Paella served by Pymble’s Lounge 10’47, Mexican by Cantina Mobil, the best veggie burgers by The Veggie Patch. Grilled Seafood tasting plates, an Angus beef spit roast and for dessert danish pancakes, ice creams and coffee from our hand selected gourmet food venders.
Regional produce market stalls will line the flowerbeds and walkways with fresh flowers, organic fruit and vegetables, olives and olive oils from Bunna Bunoo Olive Grove, jams from Tar10, vinegars and spices from Natures Blend, cheese and milk from Moo And More, a range of gluten free delights from Miss E Gluten Free and puddings from Pudding Lane.
There are also activities to keeps the kids busy, with live music on the rotunda, roving entertainment in the park, inflatable rides and a petting zoo.
"It was my business partner’s wife who led me to Wahroonga Park with the suggestion of producing a new unique food and wine event in their local neighbourhood, and now here we are four months later with a food and wine festival in a magnificent leafy, tree lined location in spring," says Margot Natoli, the Festival's producer.
The Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival will be held in Wahroonga Park on Sunday October 27. To find out more, visit the festival's official website.
