Spring has sprung kiddies, and its nature's way of saying “let's party!”.
And the folks at The Bearded Lady want you to get your party-on with them. The West End venue has been hibernating, but she is all dolled-up and ready to step out with a new cocktail menu, late-night trade on weekends and a new, summer-entertainment roster.
The cocktail menu has had a much needed revamp. It still includes impeccably made classics but also an intriguing house list, which is divided into either 'delicious, fruity concoctions' or 'sophisticated, harder mixdowns'.
On Friday and Saturdays, Dad's given you permission to stay up past your bedtime! Meaning The Bearded Lady has a late license until 2am. There aren't many other places on the West End strip that cater for night owls, so come down for a late-night boogie.
Also helping ease you into the warmer months is The Bearded's new entertainment line-up full of original acts...
Mondays
We're keeping this experimental for all the weirdos out there... Coming up is Melody Beat – an electronic-beat-filled evening where artists have opportunity for collaboration. Another Monday evening on the horizon is Unstable Landings – a medley of eclectic performance and audio artists.Wednesdays
The cosy, front bar showcases artists in a stripped-back setting, a situation where we can get up-close and personal. This night is called 'Them'.Thursdays
