Melbourne's Midnight Juggernauts have announced a national tour in support of their new album, Uncanny Valley.
The band embarked on a headlining tour a few months ago to launch lead-off single 'Ballad Of The War Machine', but that feels like a lifetime ago now — 'Get Lucky' had only just been released, for god's sake. They also supported Tame Impala on their national tour and journeyed around the nation with Groovin' The Moo, and will play a string of dates in Europe and South America before they return to Oz.
Yesterday, we shared their spectacular video for new single 'Memorium' with you — it's a chronological tour through the pioneer years of CGI, directed by band leader Vincent Vendetta (aka Vincenzi Vandella).
Recorded in a church nestled in the Loire Valley in the French countryside (and various studios in Melbourne and Sydney), the Uncanny Valley LP promises to deliver "43 minutes of warm-hearted cold wave, interstellar harmonies, and early 1950s house, steeped in the darkness of dusty Giallo soundtracks". It's out June 14 through Siberia Records / Remote Control.
