After last week's reports that the companies formerly comprising Future Entertainment had entered liquidation, The Mushroom Group has released a statement confirming that next year's Future Music and Goodlife Festivals will still be going ahead.
There wasn't much doubt about that, of course (according to Tone Deaf), the trademarks to the events had been transferred to Future Music Holdings Pty Ltd, which was registered in May and is not in liquidation), but it's still good to have it confirmed.
This year marks the Mushroom Group and Frontier Touring's first association with Future Music Festival (FMF) and Goodlife; as stressed in today's release, their involvement is "only effective for the 2014 music festivals".
The FMF line-up will be announced at a spectacular launch event in Sydney on Tuesday September 17, highlighted by a performance from international chart-toppers Rudimental.
