Joel Rafidi's Top 5 First World Problems

Joel Rafidi

In a first of its kind, Sydney hip hop artist Joel Rafidi will embark on a promotional tour that will have him busking his way down the east coast, going directly to the people visiting malls and schools, and documenting it all on social media.

With his debut album, ‘Phases’, due for release on 12th September, the Joel Rafidi Road Trippin tour will visit: Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Taree, Newcastle, Gosford, Parramatta, Penrith, Richmond, Wollongong, Sydney, Nowra, Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Shepparton and Wangaratta.

Currently out-and-about on the road, we asked Joel to supply his top five first world dramas.

1. My inflight movie was longer than my flight.
2. I bought a PS4; not enough HDMI inputs on my Samsung TV.
3. I spent 20 minutes choosing the right Instagram filter for my meal. Food got cold.
4. I dropped my iPhone and cracked my iPad.
5. I forgot I was watching my recorded show; sat through the commercials!

When he’s completed his busking voyage, Joel will team up his full band to play the following Sydney live dates:

Sun 21st Sep - The Old Manly Boatshed
Thu 25th Sep - Tatler, Kings Cross (album launch)
Wed 1st Oct - The Brass Monkey, Cronulla
