Two-time Emmy and WGA award-winning writer, actor and comedian John Mulaney will bring his ‘From Scratch’ tour to Australia in February 2023.
John travelled to the United States with his sold-out ‘Kid Gorgeous’ tour in 2018, which was later released as a Netflix stand-up special, winning the Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Special.
The comedian has been invited to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ (‘SNL’) five times, and began writing for ‘SNL’ back in 2008. He’s written for IFC’s ‘Documentary Now!’ and Netflix’s ‘Big Mouth’, where he voices the character of Andrew.
Further to starring on screen, John has also been on Broadway, in ‘Oh, Hello On Broadway’ alongside Nick Kroll, and the pair have also released a Netflix special of the same name and ‘Oh, Hello: The P’dcast’, based off their character Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland.
The ‘From Scratch’ tour has managed to sell out massive venues around North America, as well as Madison Square Garden and The Hollywood Bowl, as John continues to add shows. Now, it’s Australia’s turn for the laughs.
Tickets are on sale at 2pm on 17 June.
