Country-folk-rock indie project Waxahatchee brings the world tour celebrating her newest studio album, 'Tigers Blood', to Australia this December.
The moniker of Alabama singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield, Waxahatchee, who is already part of the Meredith Music Festival 2024 line-up, has added headline shows in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.Known for such songs as 'Fire' and 'Lilacs' (and recently releasing the joint single 'Easy Company' with Futurebirds as well as performing one of her new songs '365' live on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' when Jeff Goldblum hosted) Waxahatchee's sound has evolved from lo-fi folk to lush alt-tinged country paired with her honest and poetic with a Southern lilting voice.
