LA art-rock collective Warpaint will trek to Australia this spring.
Already added to Harvest Rock's 2023 line-up, the quartet of Emily Kokal, Theresa Wayman, Jenny Lee Lindberg and Stella Mozgawa will headline concerts in Northern Rivers, Brisbane and Sydney in October.Their Melbourne show is part of The Eighty Six Festival programme and sees them join Bright Eyes for a double bill.
Set to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2024, Warpaint have released four studio albums, their most recent being 2022's 'Radiate Like This' that features the singles 'Champion' and 'Stevie'.
"Hey y’all! How are you? Just popping in to thank all of you for listening to our new record this year," the group posted late last year.
"Hard to believe it came out in May! It's been heartwarming to read/ hear all the supportive messages and ways that our music has connected with you.
"Here's to a beautiful 2023. We'll see you out there, somewhere, sometime. Stella and the Warpizzles."
Make sure you experience their hypnotic vocals, intricate guitar lines and thirst-quenching post punk rhythms, as Warpaint weave a live tapestry morphing between art rock, dream pop, shoegaze and psychedelic rock.
