After staging an uber successful inaugural event last year, Harvest Rock returns to the festival calendar in 2023, once again nestling into Adelaide's Rymill & King Rodney Parks for two days of magical live music.
There are plenty of international arrivals jetting in for the festival (to take place 28-29 October), with Harvest Rock securing exclusive performances from lo-fi rock, psychedelic hip hop master Beck (bringing his full band) as well as funk, soul, and acid jazz master Jamiroquai – who returns to Australia for the first time in 12 years.Other artists stamping their passports to Harvest Rock are indie rock-rock band Bright Eyes led by Conor Oberst, '90s early '00s alt-rock champions Built To Spill, Canadian electro-funk duo Chromeo, New Zealand indietronica queen Ladyhawke, plus 'Le Freak' and 'Good Times' hitmakers Nile Rodgers & Chic.
Then there's country-rock artist and Missouri native Sam Barber ('Straight And Narrow'), American new wave, indietronica artist Santigold ('Disparate Youth'), quirky art pop, glam rock sibling duo Sparks (fresh from releasing their first album on Island Records in 47 years!), New York power pop band The Lemon Twigs and LA post-rock, art rock band Warpaint.
On the local front, there's a stack of talent to unpack including Baker Boy ('Cool As Hell'), Chet Faker ('No Diggity'), Julia Jacklin ('Pressure To Party'), Ocean Alley ('Confidence'), Thelma Plum ('Homecoming Queen') and Vera Blue ('Rushing Back').
Living Aussie treasure Paul Kelly also joins the bill alongside local favourites Bad//Dreems and The Rolling Stone Revue (fronted by Adalita of Magic Dirt, Tex Perkins, and self-professed Stones tragic, Tim Rogers of You Am I).
Those looking to let loose on the dance floor, Flight Facilities will perform a special Decades DJ set.
"Harvest Rock is back! We are so excited to present another weekend of incredible music, food, wine, and good times at Harvest Rock II," Secret Sounds Co-CEO, Jessica Ducrou says.
"We've lined up some of the world's most iconic international artists, alongside stellar talent from our own shores, and paired it with the best food and wine offerings from South Australia.
"At Harvest Rock there's something for everyone; enjoy our cellar door pop-up, or an exclusive lunch at the pop-up Wildwood restaurant by Jake Kellie. We have Little Harvest for the little ones and The Great Escape wellness precinct for those wanting some well-deserved R&R.
"Join us in October and experience Harvest Rock II in all its glory."
Tickets on sale from 9am EST on 9 August.
