With an amazing 40,000 people experiencing WAMFest 2017, West Australian Music (WAM) have revealed that artist applications for the 2018 event are open.
With a massive 304 local acts (representing 1,145 musicians) showcasing their talent at last year's WAMFest Live events, this year WAM hope to see even more bands/ artists applying.
By showcasing at WAMFest, local artists have the opportunity to wow influential music industry professionals from around the globe.

Over the years WAMFest has propelled plenty of local artists to new heights: Methyl Ethel, Stella Donnelly, Tired Lion, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Ziggy Ramo, Mathas, POW! Negro, Demon Days, Carla Geneve, Riley Pearce, Sydnee Carter, Sam Perry and many, many more. Will you be next?
All artists will also have the chance to feature on the Kiss My WAMi compilation CD, which is distributed to industry representatives and media ahead of the festival.
WAM have also revealed the key dates of the 2018 event:
THURSDAY 1 NOVEMBER
WAMAwards: WA's annual music night of nights, awarding and celebrating WA's finest artists.FRIDAY 2 NOVEMBER
WAMCon: Day one at The State Theatre Centre of WA, Perth.Quay Note Boat Party: Exclusive VIP boat party on the Swan River.
WAMFest Live Friday: WA music showcases with a focus on Perth city venues.
SATURDAY 3 NOVEMBER
WAMCon: Day two at The State Theatre Centre of WA, Perth.WAMFest Live Saturday: A full day of free music events right across Northbridge, including the return of the Lot Party at Lot 10 South, adjacent to the newly completed Yagan Square.
Plus there will be a number of regional and local council events in the weeks leading up to WAMFest that will be revealed later on.
