The Rolling Stones will be back on the road in May.
The band naturally postponed the Australian and New Zealand legs of their '14 On Fire' tour after the tragic death of Mick Jagger's longtime partner, fashion designer L'Wren Scott, but NME reports that they'll be back at work in Norway on May 26. A string of European dates will follow, including a headline slot at Roskilde Festival in Denmark on July 3.
The group are tipped to return to Australia in October or November to play rescheduled dates. Promoter Frontier Touring have yet to make an official announcement regarding the dates; as you'd expect, rescheduling a tour of this scale is not an easy task.
Scott's funeral took place in Los Angeles on March 25 with Jagger, his daughters and his grandchildren in attendance.
