Set to tour Australia with a mix of metro and regional dates, Teenage Joans and Between You & Me are teaming together for the 1800-Painless co-headline tour.
The run of shows will weave through Adelaide, Perth, Bunbury, Melbourne (x2 shows), Hobart, Geelong, Ballarat, Albury, Canberra, Wollongong, Penrith, Newcastle, Central Coast, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Coffs Harbour from early August to early September."The Between You & Me x Teenage Joans tour is honestly SO overdue! We are so keen to finally be on the road with our BYAM mates," enthuses Teenage Joans.
Adds BYAM: "We cannot wait to get on the road with TJs, it's been a long time coming and now it's finally happening. We are grabbing the sleeping bags and going regional, this tour is going to be in-tents but painless."
Six-time South Australian Music Awards winners who have penned such singles as 'Three Lead Clover', 'Wine' and 'Ice Cream', the Adelaide duo of Tahlia Borg (vocalist-drummer) and Cahli Blakers (vocalist-guitarist) have had a massive 12 months.
Teenage Joans released their debut album 'The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest' (and related short film), supported Foo Fighters and toured America earlier this year.
While Melbourne's pop-punks Between You & Me have also had a massive 12 months touring America for four weeks in March, releasing their new EP 'Sh.t Yeah' in April, returning home for a May national tour. They'll then hook up with British pop-punk icons Busted on their Australian tour in spring.
