Stones Corner Festival Is Back After A 2-Year COVID-Enforced Hiatus

A celebration of community offering music, food, crafts and market stalls washed down with an adult beverage or two, the annual Stones Corner Festival is back in 2022 (1 May) after a two-year absence enforced by the COVID pandemic.

Electronic-pop duo Sneaky Sound System headline the musical line-up, joined by Aussie ska-punk legends The Porkers, Quentin & The Tarantino's (the Tarantino alter-egos of Cheap Fakes performing the ultimate 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Reservoir Dogs' playlist), and local alt-country charmers Good Will Remedy.

Other local acts on the bill include dirty rock & roll four-piece Jollee, indie folk quartet Full Power Happy Hour, indie pop singer-songwriter Sofia Isella and the melody-rich rock-pop of Cheap Date.

"I'm feeling a festival coming on. . . This year is gonna be huuuugggeee and did I say it's FREE ENTRY!" beams Jollee. "So bring the family, a date, your space boots or ya best mate. We'll be raising funds for MND and ME Foundation! See you there!"

Alongside a host of food trucks, more than 20 brewers will be on hand pouring drinks throughout the day from the likes of Little Creatures, 4Pines, Slipstream, Balter, Eumundi, Brookvale Union, Mountain Goat and Green Beacon.

Aperol Spritz, 4 Pillars Gin, Your Mates Brewing Co, Heads Of Noosa and Better Beer will also make their debut at Stones Corner Fest.



"Hi Brisbane. How good is this? See you at Stones Corner Festival," Sneaky Sound System says, who'll be bringing their hits 'UFO', 'Pictures' and 'I Love It' to the stage.

Those looking for a new outfit or threads for winter will be able to support local with The Market Folks, which focuses on all things pre-loved, hand-crafted, sustainable and creative.

"So excited to be part of the upcoming Stones Corner Festival; [we'll be] releasing our new EP 'Same Old Crows' at the Fest," adds Good Will Remedy.

Staged on a public holiday long weekend and with festival entry being free, tasty eats on offer, local brews pouring and tunes playing throughout the day, Stones Corner Festival is set to be the ultimate outing.
