The next cluster of South Australian unsigned talent to take to the Scouted stage have been named, to showcase the incredible talent bubbling away within the state.

Part of MusicSA's footprint staged in association with AIR's Indie Con Australia Conference and AIR Awards, Scouted will feature 14 acts across 3 venues on 1 night (1 August) with 1 ticket gaining access to all the action.

The ideal platform for unsigned acts to strut their stuff in front of a national (and international) music industry audience (A2IM's Indie Week Australian Edition takes place alongside Indie Con Australia Conference), Scouted is supported by the Government of South Australia's Music Development Office (MDO).

With a diverse range or genres (psych-pop to punk, R&B to country, hyper pop to hip hop) and ethnicities (including Arrernte, Malawian-Australian, and Asian-Australian heritage), Scouted provides the ideal snapshot of the next-gen pushing through.

The artists will have the opportunity to perform in front of some of the most influential music industry figures including record label executives, booking agents, festival programmers and music media, alongside a local audiences at three of the state's premier live music venues: Ed Castle, Jive and The Grace Emily.


The line-up will feature Bella Brinkworth, Bousta, The Dainty Morsels, Druid Fluids, Greasy, LOLA, MACËY, Maisie B., Ms Chipeta, The Munch, Nathan Hui-Yi, Nat Luna, RENAÉ, and Scott Rathman Jnr.

"MusicSA is genuinely thrilled to unveil this year's Scouted line-up! We received a record number of entries, and the bar was set really high, making it a huge challenge and process for the judges," MusicSA CEO, Christine Schloithe says.

"Running over three venues this year, Scouted 2025 will showcase some of the best, brightest and most diverse music talent in the state. These artists will certainly impress the national and international delegates in the audience on the night – they are a fantastic representation of the great artists and music coming out of South Australia."

An Arrernte man from Mparntwe/Alice Springs, Bousta fuses classic hip hop with powerful lyricism in both English and Arrernte. After releasing their debut album in 2023, psych-blues rockers The Dainty Morsels second studio album is on the way, as the band look to push beyond their hometown in 2025. "We Morsels have been selected to play #Scouted2025 for MusicSA alongside a stack of brilliant and wonderful musicians ⭐️ what a sweet treat. We'd love for you to come cheer us on and make us look cool and awesome : - )."

With honeyed vocals and heartfelt R&B-infused songwriting, Ms Chipeta is Malawian Australian singer-songwriter. "I'm playing Scouted 2025! 🥹 Such a privilege to get onstage alongside some amazing unsigned local artists ❤️‍🔥."

Together these 14 artists bring unique stories, bold voices, and fresh sounds to the stage. "AIR is delighted to have its conference program end with Scouted, MusicSA's unsigned talent showcase, introducing great South Australian talent to our industry delegates and the broader music community," Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) CEO, Maria Amato adds.

Bella Brinkworth

Hailing from South Australia, alternative folk artist Bella Brinkworth has swiftly amassed a global following, thanks to her commanding vocals and an impressive 12 million TikTok views and over 50,000 followers. Playing over 50 shows before releasing her debut EP, Brinkworth is rapidly establishing herself as a rising star.


Bousta

An Arrernte man from Mparntwe/ Alice Springs, who fuses classic hip hop with powerful lyricism in both English and Arrernte, inspiring Indigenous youth to pursue their dreams through music.


The Dainty Morsels

An Adelaide band renowned for their whimsical yet neurotic sound and captivating performances that belie their four-piece line-up. With a second studio album on the way, they're ready to push beyond their hometown in 2025.


Druid Fluids

Known for their impressive audio/ visual live shows in Adelaide and nationally, Druid Fluids blends psych-pop nostalgia with cinematic depth, crafting emotionally charged soundscapes that are both timeless and entirely their own.


Greasy

Fusing indie rock with jazz, soul and chaos that clicks, Greasy are a genre-defying five-piece delivering unpredictable, high-energy sets with brains, groove and grit.


LOLA

With a riotous blend of punk energy, DIY grit and surf-skate spirit, LOLA are igniting mosh pits across stages (and half pipes) from Adelaide to Europe, while gearing up to release their third EP, 'Prawn Star', this August.


MACËY

Fusing hyper-pop, metal and rap into an explosive hyper-punk sound, MACËY are redefining Adelaide's live scene with brooding intensity and mosh-pit mayhem.


Maisie B.

Blending folk, jazz, and alt-pop with vulnerable lyricism, Maisie B. crafts texturally rich songs that forge deep human connection onstage and in sound.


Ms Chipeta

A Malawian-Australian singer-songwriter with honeyed vocals and heartfelt R&B-infused songwriting, Ms Chipeta crafts tender, introspective music that's quickly earning her a place on major festival stages.


The Munch

Fiercely original and rooted in friendship, The Munch deliver punchy, genre-blurring punk with unrelenting energy, their music characterised by bouncy, melodic riffs, unrelenting rhythms and impassioned vocals.


Nathan Hui-Yi

Blending introspective bars with cinematic, genre-bending beats, Nathan Hui-Yi is redefining Australian hip hop with DIY flair.


Nat Luna

Praised by triple j for her 'magical lyricism and vocal finesse', Nat Luna crafts irresistible, glitter-soaked pop, while using her platform to challenge stereotypes around disability. Nat's magnetic live set earned her a slot at WOMADelaide 2023, where she shared the stage with Florence + The Machine and Bon Iver.


RENAÉ

RENAÉ is a Y2K-inspired pop artist from Adelaide turning personal diary entries into shimmering anthems of empowerment – bridging pop with purpose to uplift and inspire a new generation of young women.


Scott Rathman Jnr

A proud Arrernte singer-songwriter from Gawler, this rising country-rock artist blends heartfelt storytelling with growing acclaim, named 2025 Australian Country Music People's Choice Award winner for Most Promising Future Star.
