90+ Industry Speakers Representing 70+ Companies Will Gather At AIR's 2025 Indie-Con Australia Conference and A2IM's Indie Week Australian 2025 Edition

Set to feature three days of conference programming across the two conferences and twenty four sessions, more than ninety industry speakers will descend on Adelaide for the annual Indie-Con Australia Conference as well as A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition.

Both conferences will be staged 30 July to 1 August in Australia's UNESCO designated City of Music, Adelaide, thanks to continued support from the South Australian Government's Music Development Office.

Each conference will feature a mix of panels, workshops and one-on-one meetings, with over 90 speakers featuring global music industry experts, label representatives, independent artists and journalists, with representatives from over 70 different companies.

A2IM (American Association of Independent Music) bring to our shores a stellar conference line-up featuring speakers from labels such as Oh Boy Records, Empire, Hopeless Records, Rough Trade Records, FADER Label, Secretly Group, Symphonic Distribution; and organisations such as Rhymesayers, Go Digital, Better Noise, and CoSynd and many more.

A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition topics include Global Growth: Expanding Traditional Markets; Glocalisation; The Back Catalog Blueprint: From Old Tracks to New Profits; Deal Making in the Age of AI; as well as a special keynote with Jody Whelan (Oh Boy Records,) and an in-conversation with Dr. Richard James Burgess (A2IM, President and CEO).

The Conference will close with a music industry debate and closing drinks, followed by MusicSA's Scouted, showcasing emerging and unsigned talent from South Australia's music scene.

AIR's Indie-Con Australia Conference is held in conjunction with its annual invite-only AIR Awards, to be held on 31 July at Adelaide Town Hall.
