Adelaide's annual gathering of fresh and emerging South Australian music talent, Scouted is back in 2024 offering a platform for ten local bands and artists to showcase in front of a national audience.
Staged by MusicSA in conjunction with Indie-Con Australia – one of the country's leading independent music conferences – Scouted 2024 will take over Jive and Nexus Live on 2 August.The featured artists are Bjéar, Bromham, effie isobel, Eskatology, Lizzie Hosking, My Chérie, Pest Control, Placement, Sofia Menguita and The Mondays.
"Scouted grows every year, and every year more delegates make the time to see our brilliant emerging talent," MusicSA CEO, Christine Schloithe says.
"We can't emphasise enough just how important this annual showcase is – it's connected to an important national music industry conference that takes place in Adelaide, it attracts prominent industry heavyweights to see our local talent, and it can be a vital launchpad for artists that are ready to breakthrough and be noticed.

In addition to the showcase opportunity, MusicSA offers the selected artist's industry development training in live stagecraft, EPK development, and complimentary delegate passes to attend the Indie-Con Australia Conference and the 2024 AIR Awards. Artists will also benefit from match-made networking opportunities with relevant Indie-Con delegates.

"Scouted provides local artists the opportunity to connect with new audiences and showcase their talents to the national delegates of Indie-Con, while drawing people to Adelaide's favourite West End venues."

Scouted 2024 takes place at Jive and Nexus Live (Adelaide) on 2 August.
