To nobody's great surprise (but nobody's disappointment, either), Puscifer have been announced as the "special guest" for Soundwave Festival in Sydney and Adelaide.
The announcement leaves Tool and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan playing double duty at the festival, as he'll also be playing with A Perfect Circle (Tool are on their way to town not long after that, so hopefully he'll be killing time in Oz 'till then).
Puscifer will also play Sidewaves in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, but won't appear in the "special guests" slot on the Brisbane Soundwave timetable. Other additions to the Soundwave bill include triple j Unearthed winners The Schoenberg Automaton (Brisbane), Party Vibez (Melbourne), Life Pilot (Adelaide) and Born Lion (Sydney).
Soundwave will roll through the following towns on the following dates. All tickets have sold out, so, you know... we hope you got one, we guess?
Sat Feb 23 — RNA Showgrounds (Brisbane)
Sun Feb 24 — Olympic Park (Sydney)
Fri Mar 1 — Flemington Racecourse (Melbourne)
Sat Mar 2 — Bonython Park (Adelaide)
Mon Mar 4 — Claremont Showground (Perth)
