Tool have announced an Australian tour, with arena shows scheduled for Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.
The unexpected announcement marks the band's first visit to Australia since they headlined the Big Day Out (and two sideshows) in 2011. Vocalist Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey and bassist Justin Chancellor will be taking time out from recording their fifth studio album to make the trip.
