For the first time in six years, American songbird Norah Jones will perform a set of live shows in Australia.
The singer has three headline shows planned in April as part of her 'Wintertime' tour.
She will start in Melbourne and then head to Sydney and then Hobart. After that, there will be one last stop off in Byron Bay to feature at Bluesfest for the festival's much anticipated 30th anniversary.
The eponymous 'Wintertime' tour takes its name from the singer's latest single, 'Wintertime'. This is the fourth single she has released so far over the recent months.
'Wintertime' heralds the seasoned Jones' return to her roots as a piano doyen. The single was preceded by three others: 'A Song With No Name', 'It Was You', and 'My Heart Is Full'.
The crooner has become a master genre-bender. She is someone who is able to croon jazz and soul, folk and pop and rock all in the same song, without ever overplaying her hand.
General tickets to all headline dates go on sale from Thursday 29 November at noon local time. Click here for more details.
