Legends of disco and funk, Nile Rodgers & CHIC have added more shows to their Australian visit next month.
Already performing at Harvest Rock in Adelaide and Melbourne International Jazz Festival, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and 2023 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Nile Rodgers & CHIC will also headline concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Fremantle.Fans can expect a set list to encompass all of CHIC's global hits as well as the many chart toppers written or produced by Nile Rodgers.
"The pandemic had kept us away from our fans in Australia for too long, but now we are coming back to kick off the summer with good times," shares Nile.
Chic's catalogue includes such classics as 'Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)', 'Everybody Dance', 'Le Freak', 'I Want Your Love', 'Good Times', and 'My Forbidden Lover'.
Nile's work in the CHIC Organization includes 'We Are Family' with Sister Sledge and 'I'm Coming Out' with Diana Ross.
While Rodgers' productions include David Bowie ('Let's Dance'), Madonna ('Like A Virgin') and Duran Duran ('The Reflex'), Daft Punk ('Get Lucky'), Daddy Yankee ('Agua'), and Beyoncé ('Cuff It').
Tickets to Brisbane, Sydney and Fremantle shows on sale from 11am (local time) on 7 September.
