King Street Carnival Sydney Rescheduled 2022 Dates + Expanded Line-Up

Multi-genre Sydney music weekender King Street Carnival has moved to January and expanded its offering.

The event is an elevated version of the historic King Street Crawl, honouring the vibrant and multicultural layers of the Inner West with a three-day explosion of music. Headlining the proceedings are Yothu Yindi, You Am I and Confidence Man.

Today (14 October), the likes of Hiatus Kaiyote, Middle Kids, Kaiit, Donny Benet, Amyl And The Sniffers and more join the line-up, as well as open-air parties from Heaps Gay and Inner West Reggae Disco Machine.



New headliners Middle Kids will perform from their catalogue of alt-indie rock. Melbourne vocal powerhouse Kaiit, and eternal crowd favourite Donny Benet with his '80s, post-disco vibe, will make appearances too.

Indie-rock act Ratcat and punk rockers Amyl And The Sniffers will be sure to crank up the heat as fresh performers on the Carnival line-up.



All these joining an already-announced packed set of performers keen to play in a live setting after months of uncertainty and changing restrictions.

Two new programmed open-air parties will fill the atmosphere in the iconic Brick Pits. Queer party-throwers Heaps Gay will have you catching a rhythm all Saturday long, and on Sunday, Inner West Reggae Disco Machine presents an all-star showcase of grooves and talents. Sunday audiences can expect to see The Mighty Asterix, Stryka D, Foreigndub with MC Rayjah, Lstatic, Roots Odyssey, Nick Toth and MC Mikey Glamour.

King Street Carnival takes place at Sydney Park Amphitheatre, Camperdown Rest Memorial Park and Brick Pits (Sydney Park) from 14-16 January.
