Congratulations to Tasmanian duo Sumner, who have been declared the winner of this year's Josh Pyke Partnership.


Sumner, made up of Jack McLaine and Chloe Wilson, impressed Josh who praised the pair's excellent production skills and evocative vocals as well as their practical and achievable business plan.

"We’re beyond stoked and honoured to be the 2018 recipients of the Josh Pyke Partnership," both Jack and Chloe said in a statement.

"Thanks so much to Josh Pyke, Wonderlick Entertainment, Select Music and APRA AMCOS for giving these Tassie kids a go.”


Jack and Chloe will be awarded a $7,500 grant to kick-start their music career as well as invaluable mentoring from Josh himself and a meeting with Gregg Donovan from Wonderlick Entertainment and Stephen Wade from Select Music.

The partnership programme is made possible by Josh Pyke and APRA AMCOS, and aims to connect an unsigned musician with the exciting opportunity to receive mentorship and funding that will help to grow their career.
