Post-punk, experimental rockers Fat White Family return to Australia this summer for the first time since 2019.
Already slotted on the Meredith Music Festival 2024 line-up, the band responsible for such sonic nuggets as 'Touch The Leather Redux', 'Whitest Boy On The Beach' and 'Feet' will headline shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane the first week of December.2024 has seen Fat White Family tour Europe and the UK extensively, including a performance at Glastonbury, promoting their newest, and fourth studio album 'Forgiveness Is Yours'.
Like everything Fat White Family have done it has pushed them to the limits not only of their creative talent, but of their health, their sanity, and their very existence.
"Every time we make an album, we swear to ourselves this is our last," singer Lias Saoudi shares. "Nothing can be worth that pain, that misery.
"Then a bunch of people show up at the gigs. They cheer. They approve. They offer us something resembling love. Our vanity thus restored, we quickly begin toying with the notion of yet another instalment.
