Veteran DJ Erick Morillo has died suddenly aged 49.
Less than a month after being arrested for sexual battery, the DJ, producer and founder of Subliminal Records was found dead in Miami Beach (1 September).
There were no apparent signs of foul play, and Morillo's cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner according to the Miami Beach PD.
Morillo is most well known for his 1993 hit 'I Like To Move It'. He performed on the global club and festival circuit through 2000s and into the 2010s. He was last in Australia on Fatboy's Slim 2016 bill.

His death comes four weeks after his August arrest for sexual battery. The arrest report cited an unidentified woman claimed she fell asleep in Morillo's bedroom, fully clothed. She said she later woke up with Morillo standing beside the bed – both of them were naked.
He presented himself to authorities after DNA had confirmed his association with the woman. He was scheduled to face a court hearing this Friday.
The Coloumbian-American's 1993 hit 'I Like To Move It' (produced under his Reel 2 Real pseudonym) has featured in countless commercials and movies including DreamWorks 2005's megahit 'Madagascar'.
Erick was a three-time winner of Best House DJ (1998, 2001, 2003) and a three-time winner of Best International DJ (2002, 2006, 2009) at the DJ Awards.
Subliminal Records produced the #1 Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play hit 'Fun' by Da Mob, and won the Muzik Magazine Remixer Of The Year award in 1999.
