American indie pop singer-songwriter Del Water Gap has extended his Australian tour later this year.
Already slated to join The Wombats at their SummerSalt dates (in Torquay, Tamborine, Lake Macquarie and Fremantle) as well as their headline concert in Brisbane in September, Del Water Gap will also play his own shows in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.These will be the Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and producer's first Australian dates since his 2023 Splendour appearance (alongside two intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne). Signed to New York's Mom+Pop Music (the same label home to Tash Sultana, Courtney Barnett and Tom Morello), Del Water Gap aka S. Holden Jaffe is best known for his 2020 breakthrough hit 'Ode To A Conversation Stuck In Your Throat'.
Jaffe issued a string of self-produced releases and collaborations, including the streaming hit 'High Tops' (2017) before releasing Del Water Gap's major-label debut 'Don't Get Dark' in 2019.
He released his self-titled sophomore LP in 2021 before returning with 'I Miss You Already + I Haven’t Left Yet' in 2023 (that features 'All We Ever Do Is Talk', 'Doll House', 'Glitter & Honey' and 'Coping On Unemployment'.)
Before he arrives in Australia, Del Water Gap will perform at major festivals Lollapalooza (Chicago) and Leeds & Reading Festivals (UK).
Tickets to Del's headline shows on sale from 1pm (local time) on 23 June.
