Already headed to Australia to perform with Foo Fighters, guitarist and songwriter Chris Shiflett has added a couple of solo dates to his visit.
Also a podcast host – 'Walking The Floor with Chris Shiflett' and his current series 'Shred With Shifty' – Shiflett will headline solo concerts in Melbourne and Sydney.Last week, Shiflett released his third solo album 'Lost At Sea', which is another collection of alt-country and Americana-flavoured material.
"Touring Australia is always a blast and I'm excited it worked out to schedule these solo acoustic shows between the big ones," Chris says. "Better re-string my J200 and dust off my capo!
"I'll be playing some tunes from my new record, 'Lost At Sea', as well as my last couple records and a few covers. Might have to learn a couple Jackson United ones while I'm at it!"
Shiflett and his Foo Fighters band mates perform six stadium concerts kicking off late November.
Tickets to Shiflett's solo dates on sale from 11am EDT on 26 October.
