BlenheimFest 2017 Is Bigger And Better Than Ever

Sahara Beck
National Music Editor, based in Brisbane, Australia.
'Passionate about true crime docos, the Swannies, golf and sleep, I’ve been writing about music for 20-plus years. What I’ve learnt? There’s two types of music – good and bad.’

With a focus on South Australian artists, BlenheimFest 2017 returns as a two-day event in the Clare Valley.

Tijuana Cartel, Sahara Beck, Deep Street Soul, Bullhorn and Bustamento headline the 2017 event, which will also feature a host of local talent including Lazy Eye, The Timbers, Max Savage & The False Idols, The Coconut Kids.

The Thursday component of the festival will be headlined by The Snowdroppers and also feature: Bortier Okoe, Runebilly Rattle, The Wholias, Headphone Piracy, Pat Ramm and Joe Man Murphy.

Located on a working farm with stunning views, BlenheimFest is a volunteer run, not-for-profit festival held every year on Good Friday.

With the 2016 event a sell out that raised $23,000 for charity, BlenheimFest has everything: local wine, beer and cider at its two bars; camping included in the ticket price; curated visual and performance arts; hand-picked food vendors with delicious local produce and culturally-diverse menus; a super-cool market place; and to top it all off...a BYO licence.

BlenheimFest 2017 will take place at Blenheim Farm (about 1.5 hour drive north of Adelaide) on 13 and 14 April.
