Frenzal Rhomb, Polaris, Ocean Grove, Radio Moscow, Clowns and many more have been unveiled on a monster 2018 line-up by Brisbane's Dead Of Winter Festival.
Now entering its eight instalment, Dead Of Winter (7 July 2018) has solidified its position as Queensland's leading heavy music event with the 2018 festival to be spread across two Brisbane venues – Jubilee Hotel and The Tivoli Theatre – after last year's event sold out.
'The Tivoli Theatre will focus on hardcore acts with Jubilee Hotel hosting 4 stages of punk, rock, metal and ska over 12 hours.'
Australian punk royalty Frenzal Rhomb (mainstays of the scene for 20+ years) will headline alongside metalcore tidal wave Polaris, UNFD nu metal lords Ocean Grove, American stoner-blues outfit Radio Moscow and hardcore punks Clowns.
In total, 31 acts have been named on the first announce (scroll down for the full list), with the second announce containing more surprises (so stayed tuned for further updates).

The annual event will also deliver quality burlesque and horror cabaret acts as part of their Freak Show Alley including multiple appearances by The Heart and Dagger Sideshow.
Additional alt-stalls and A-grade food trucks will be added from previous years. Punters are also encouraged to push horror dress limits, with it not uncommon to see zombies, she-devils and monsters walking from stage to stage.
"After a sell out 2017 the decision was made at camp DOW to go large," Dead of Winter Festival organiser Christian Tryhorn says.
