The devil is back – more stylish than ever.
Swirling rumours from last year are no longer mysterious whispers – 20th Century Studios have officially confirmed that a sequel to the iconic ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ is not only happening, but has kicked off production.
Excited? That’s not even the half of it – ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ is releasing in less than a year, due to hit our screens in May of 2026.
All the OG cast members are returning – Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt AND Stanley Tucci will reprise their roles as Andy, Miranda, Emily and Nigel respectively, and Kenneth Branagh joins the cast as Miranda’s husband.

As for the sequel’s plot, while reports suggest it’s based on Lauren Weisberger’s sequel novel ‘Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns’ – which follows Andy as the editor of a new bridal magazine – other sources say the film will have more of a focus on Miranda’s struggles to keep Runway afloat in a landscape where print is on its way out.
Time will tell. . . And we won’t need to wait long!

Which makes the sequel largely a family affair. With such a big group of originals returning, surely the continuation of this iconic story is in good hands?!
