Taste Of Sydney has confirmed its initial line-up of Sydney restaurants for its 2015 event.
With over 50 dishes from 10 of Sydney's award-winning restaurants (with 12 Chef Hats Awards between them), it will surely be a mouth-watering experience for even the most fussy foodie. Some of the confirmed participants will be: MoVida, Bentley, Biota Dining, Otto Ristorante and Four In Hand – who are currently working on dishes that will be exclusive to the festival.
Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Chef of the Year Brent Savage and Gourmet Traveller Sommelier of the Year Nick Hildebrandt are the brains behind Bentley Restaurant and Bar have now opened Bentley’s more casual offerings Monopole and Yellow, sure to offer a wide range of tasty treats at this year's festival.
MoVida (originally located in Melbourne) will be displaying the work of Chef Frank Camorra's tapas. Winner of a one hat for his traditional Spanish tapas, he will be bringing more Spanish flavours with Camorra's Cecina.
Biota Dining will surely be tempting for locavores, with two-time hat winner Chef James Vile bringing some locally sourced flavours to the table. Whether cooking sans electricity or hand-picking limes from his own garden in Bowral, Vile will bring a unique regional taste for city-slickers to enjoy.
Rockabilly co-chefs Ben and Elvis with Porteño – not content with just throwing things on the barbie – will be heating things up with an asado, an Argentinian open-fire pit.
Recently awarded 'NSW’s Best Exhibition' in the Australian Event Awards, this will be an enjoyable event for those wishing to expand their tastes. There will be many activities for festival-goers to enjoy, including master classes and live music.
So for food, drinks and outdoor entertainment, it's hard to resist a Taste Of Sydney.
Taste Of Sydney will be held in Centennial Park, Sydney from 12-15 March.
