Cheers to Tinnies and Two-Up this ANZAC Day.
The Shafston’s Hotel’s Two Up and Tinnies laneway party this month (April 25) heralds ANZAC Day 2015 with ciders, cocktails, craft beers and local foodies.
Following the success of their February laneway event, Bites & Brews, The Shafston Hotel are popping up the marquees for a relaxed afternoon of local beers, ciders and good food.
In the time-honoured Australian way, the day will begin with The Last Post and a rousing Two-Up tournament, while street food vendors and outdoor bars line the Shafston’s laneway and carpark for a chilled-out neighbourhood festival well into the evening.
Enjoy your favourite brew in a retro tinnie, sample a cocktail in a can, or sip a cider while filling up on the wares of pop up food vendors, Pizzantica, King of the Wings, Juan More Taco, and BBQ Boss.
The chilled-out atmosphere will be provided by acoustic sets from Mike Blundell, Soul to You, The Shapes and Tuffy through the afternoon. DJ Dastardly Kuts and DJ Sequel take over after sunset.
