Just in time for the cooler seasons to arrive, Finders Keepers design markets are returning to their home with an incredible line-up of designers and artists.
As 'the biggest and the best Australian design market' around, the Sydney event will play host to an array of both debut designers and visitor favourites. Though, as more than just your casual Sunday morning market, the event will also feature awesome food, live music and innovative and inspiring art.
To be held once again at the Australian Technology Park's Exhibition Hall, shoppers will find the best of both worlds, with local and national designers showcasing and selling their unique and authentic wares. With stalls of stationery, leather goods, homewares, fashion and everything in between, there will be something on offer for everyone at the markets.
Though the original homemade market idea came to fruition almost a decade ago, each season continues to draw big crowds, who simply love the Finders Keepers' experience. To keep the customers coming, event curators have been scrupulous in their selection of designers for the autumn/ winter 2016 market, ensuring a delightful variety of new, handcrafted items for visitors. In fact, around 30 per cent of the stallholders are set to make their debut Finders Keepers appearance during the weekend.One of those includes Shane Thompson of Afternoons with Albert, who specialises handmade leather products perfect for the organised, fashionable busybody. Making his first appearance at the Sydney event, Shane says he's most excited about being immersed in the designer meets consumer environment.
“Having the chance to step out from behind the label and show people there is a real, authentic and passionate human being behind what they are buying is what I’m looking forward to the most."
Showcasing her newest artworks at this season's event, returning homewares designer and artist Leah Bartholomew, known for her label Beneath The Sun, couldn't agree more. 
“My favourite thing about the market is meeting everyone who supports my brand, and interacting with fellow designers. It is such a highly professional set-up where we get to showcase our work in beautiful buildings and be surrounded by top quality work. Not only that, it’s a very special and unique event for customers.”The Finders Keepers markets will be held at Australian Technology Park Exhibition Hall 29 April - 1 May before hitting Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.
