What is your favourite kind of joke to perform? Switcheroo? A callback? One-liner? Racist voices?
I love talking about seemingly unrelated things and then drawing them all together at the last minute into a one-line switcheroo callback said in a racist voice.
I know you're a music fan and were in the band The Fantastic Leslie. Would you rather be the most lauded comedian in the world or a legendary rock star?
I would like to be the rock star equivalent of my stand-up career. Generally well regarded by other bands with sporadic air play and absolutely no chance of winning an award.
What weird shit did Warrick Capper come out with during ‘I Hate You, Change My Mind’ that we didn't get to see?
He said, "I was the Bon Jovi of the eighties." I reminded him that Bon Jovi were the Bon Jovi of the eighties.

Why should people buy tickets to my show?
I think everyone should go to your show to find out what the angry youth are talking about. Also, when a comedian quits breakfast radio, they have a burst of creativity that only a good night's sleep can provide. So if you've ever enjoyed the very sharp shows of the half-asleep Ballard of the past, you'll love the new fully rested razor sharp Ballard of the future.
