For several months a small team has been working away in a Sydney office to bring preferred events to your iPhone or Android device via the startup app WHATSLIVELY.
The app tracks music you listen to via playlists in your phone and alerts you every time an artist you like announces a concert or event in your city. It then helps you plan and share concerts with friends using unique message-sharing technology the start-up company has developed inhouse.
The Whatslively app aims to get Aussies out to more live music. "There’s a sincere vision behind our app, we don't think people go to enough live gigs in Australia and we want to change that, and we believe technology is the answer", says Trishanth one of the apps founders and developers.
The app has passed all its live testing and is available now from the iTunes and Android app stores with a web application in the works.
