PAX Goes Online In 2020 Offering Gamers 9 Days Of 24-Hour Content For Free

PAX Aus moves to a virtual showcase in 2020 as PAX Online running 12-20 September.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

In a major win for gamers globally, this year's PAX Aus and Pax West events have been moved online eliminating all physical content but offering a stream of content 24 hours a day across 9 days for free.

Yes, you read right; that's not sleep-dust affecting your vision. PAX Online (12-20 September) will be completely free offering the entire international gaming community the chance to connect with and make new friends.

The experience will replicate what fans love about the annual gatherings in Australia and America: surprising game reveals, hands-on demos, thrilling esports tournaments, and a carefully curated selection in the Indie Showcase.

"First and foremost, PAX has always been about the incredible community created by everyone involved," Jerry Holkins, co-founder of PAX says, "from the attendees, panelists, exhibitors, and our amazing enforcers.

"PAX Online will recreate that shared experience, along with everyone's other favourite elements; from game reveals, exclusive hands-on experiences, the chance to hear from and speak with your favourite game developers, journalists as well as content creators, and so much more.

"Even if we can't all meet in Seattle or Melbourne this year, we look forward to reconnecting with friends, and welcoming everyone to our new home, PAX Online."

PAX Online takes place 12-20 September, 2020.
