Why do you do it?
There's an incredible amount of value in music especially Australian music. It needs to be shared and I’m more than happy to be the person who facilitates.
What do you love about the city you live in?
I live on the Gold Coast. It's no secret or shock to anyone that the beaches are the best thing about it, but it’s home to some of my favourite restaurants (IN THE WORLD): Lambar Pizza in Southport and Can Tho Kitchen & Bar Vietnamese in Runaway Bay. It has some cool night markets too: Miami Marketta and NightQuarter in Helensvale, which act as live music venues too!
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Europe! I went with my best friend (who doubles as my partner). We spent a lot of time in Switzerland snowboarding, taking in the snowcapped mountain scenery and recovering post Ireland & Munich.
What's your favourite item of clothing?
Pants because they cover the vital bits.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
So many. 'Real Monsters', 'Arthur', 'Goosebumps', 'The Simpsons', 'Rocko’s Modern Life', 'The X-Files', 'CatDog', 'Round The Twist'. Kid shows were so good in the '90s.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
There’s so many moments that have defined history. A lot of them wars and crucifixions. I think I’d prefer to spend a day in the future living on another planet.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
I’d go buy something and tell you I cooked it.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
Hard work really does pay off.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows...
Literally nothing. I’m an over-sharer. But I’ll tell you something everyone knows! I have a sick obsession with Hayley Williams from Paramore. I’m actually really sad at the moment because Parahoy 2 is happening and I’m not there.
