I’m a music producer, musician, label manager and lecturer in music production, live performance, music history and acoustics at SAE Institute in Brisbane.
Why do you do it?
I love music, I love playing music, writing music, producing music and I love being able to share the art of producing music with others.
What do you love about the city you live in?
The Gold Coast is beautiful. We have one of the best beaches in the world on one side, some amazing rainforests on the other, and a thriving collection of some very talented and original artists.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Japan: touring and a holiday. We’ve made some good friends over there during past tours and it’s such an interesting and lively place, with such a deep love of live music.
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
My vests! 'Cause they make me feel like Han Solo.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
A close call between 'Voltron' and 'Thundercats'.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
Where would I go or when would I go? The late 15th Century and hunt down Da Vinci.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
Green curry chicken or spaghetti bolognaise.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
You can’t control other people’s actions; all you can do is control your reaction to people. Also, to live your life respecting people the way you would like to be respected.

I have a secret artist name and songs that I release under, and don’t tell anyone about this.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance?
Yes! I love being able to teach and run my own studio and record label.
How do you define success?
Being able to do what you love, work with your passion, and get paid well for it.
