We run a business, Petals and Pebbles, which makes beautiful handmade pram covers for your stylish mum and bub! We sell at the markets and on Facebook and are currently in the process of expanding and will be selling in retail shops in the very near future!
Why do you do it?
We do it because we love it, and we were inspired by our little people to create something to help out the stylish mums of the world!
What do you love about Brisbane?
The weather, the lifestyle and the beautiful people.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
The last family holiday we took together was Cairns, we were both pregnant and enjoyed lazing around the pool while the kids and hubbies enjoyed the sunshine.
What's your favourite item of clothing?
Definitely our True Religion Jeans! LOVE THEM! We bought them together and they are an essential part of our wardrobe!
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? (If you've got kids, what's your favourite show to watch with them?)
Cherie: There is a lot of Peppa Pig in our house right now!
Ali: My boys love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which I watched as a child as well.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook for us?
Cherie: Definitely wood fired pizza in our pizza oven.
Ali: My lamb curry in the slow cooker — it’s delicious and as you walk through the house the smell is to die for.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
Ali: Listen to your gut!
Cherie: Be yourself first.

Hmmm...I love taking selfies. Hang on, everyone knows that!
Are you happy with your work/life balance?
Yes. We are busy mums and like to be challenged both at home and at work!
How do you define success?
Definitely not by money, but more by happiness and contentment.

Ali: The moose — courageous and strong determination.
Cherie: A wolf — family comes first!
