Why do you do it? I love making and performing music; when the position at the Rosemount Hotel came up it seemed like the perfect fit for my admin skill set and my passion for live music. A unicorn.
What do you love about the city you live in? I have lived in many places, but I think Perth is probably my favourite. Great weather (most of the time), great parks, and great music.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? (If you've got kids, what's your favourite show to watch with them?) I admit I do love watching 'Bluey' with my kids; we've almost levelled up to 'The Strange Chores' (by Ludo, the same studio as 'Bluey').
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? I really enjoy cooking desserts. With enough warning I would make giant marshmallows or something with matcha. . . or maybe matcha marshmallows?
What's the best lesson you've ever learned? Don't buy a car from a private seller who says: "The engine light is on but the mechanic says it's okay." Because IT IS NOT OKAY. IT WILL DIE WHEN YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY ANOTHER ONE.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows... I was Depressed Barbie that watches 'Pride And Prejudice' (with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy). I felt seen.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance? I am happy with my work/ life balance, but I would also appreciate more time to do nothing, everything else, and sleep (uninterrupted).
What's your spirit animal? I usually tell people that Daria Morgendorffer is my spirit animal. I had her tattooed on my arm. . . and my kids thought it was me.
