Why do you do it?
Simply because I live and breathe music, especially live music.
What do you love about the city you live in?
Sydney has the perfect balance of beach and hustle. I love being able to jump in the ocean first thing in the morning for a surf, be among all the action later in the day and then see some great bands at night. Sydney has an amazing local scene; some of our favourite bands – The Ruminaters and Rackett - are from Sydney's northern beaches.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Skiing in Colorado. #nofriendsonapowderday
What's your favourite item of clothing?
My Vans. I have worn them to death and love them stoopid [sic].
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
Has to be 'Rage' and 'Video Hits'! Every Saturday morning curled up in front of the TV wide-eyed and totally transfixed on the bands; the very reason I do what I do today.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
Woodstock in the '70s; peace love and rock & roll man.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
I simply wouldn’t make anyone endure my cooking. But I make a MEAN margarita and by mean I mean leave your car at home 'cause ain't nobody driving after one of those bad boys.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
Always do the right thing, especially when nobody is watching.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance?
My work is my life. I feel extremely lucky every day to do what I do, so every moment spent on it makes me happy.
What's your spirit animal?
A bee (obvs!); queen bee to be exact.
