I am a co-founder and Project Manager at The Box, a multi-faceted creative space in West End.
Why do you do it?
I get to work with a bunch of rad people and it keeps me challenged and very, very busy.
What do you love about the city you live in?
I love Brisbane for its proximity to so much incredible nature, and the forever increasing creative scene. Also, the weather's pretty awesome, and a whole lotta people I love live here.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Borneo. But next week I'm taking a brief hiatus for a wedding in the south of France.
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
At the moment, a pair of flatform Opening Ceremony boots I found in a second-hand store. They look like hockey skates with the blade cut off. 'Nuff said.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
It's an equal split between Daria and Seinfeld.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook for us?
I'd probably bake you a loaf of my delicious sourdough... maybe a chocolate loaf with raw cacao and pistachios.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
In a work sense, communication solves most problems. In a life sense, make fun a priority.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows...
I'm a self-proclaimed dabbler... I just can't keep a hobby!
Are you happy with your work/life balance?
Yep. Even though The Box often means working weekends or late nights, I still have time to hang out with a glorious crew of friends and make baked goods.
How do you define success?
Success is working in a job you're passionate about, while still having the time to play.
What's your spirit animal?
I'm yet to find my spirit animal... but she's out there!
